Principal's Welcome

Dear Archbishop Carroll Community,

I love the excitement of beginning each new school year and eagerly await welcoming our students and hearing their great summer stories. In addition, I am thrilled to be part of a team composed of teachers, staff, parents and students who want to achieve great things! Our school leadership, administrators, faculty, and staff are looking forward to a new school year and have been working hard throughout the summer and are eagerly awaiting your virtual return to campus.

It is with great pleasure that I write to welcome you back to a new and exciting school year. Next week we will begin the new school year together virtually. By now, each student should have picked up their device for use during this school year.  If you haven’t it will be important for you to do so in order to access your classes on the first day, Tuesday, August 25th.  Even though we won’t begin the year together on campus, this is still a new and exciting opportunity for us to achieve great things together. Your partnership and support are key elements to ensuring that we are able to continue to maximize each student’s educational and personal development in this virtual school environment. To that end, we encourage a positive home-school relationship based on the mutual goal of providing the best learning experience possible for all of our students.

Throughout our community, there is an incredible level of excitement as everyone makes final preparations for the arrival of our LIONS. It is with the same care, enthusiasm, and commitment that we approach the craft of teaching. As the people you have entrusted with the education of your children, we have developed a strong virtual educational program that addresses each child’s social, emotional and academic needs.  Albeit virtually, we continue to promote an educational environment that engages our students in meaningful work so that they develop the critical skills necessary to become independent, responsible, and productive citizens prepared for college and beyond.

Again, welcome to another wonderful school year and look forward to virtually seeing families and students very soon!
