Counseling Services
Counselors
Each student has access to a school counselor and school social worker who will assist them with academic and personal counseling concerns. The department is able to work with the students on a short-term, solution-focused basis. The Counselors will schedule meeting dates for each student during the academic year. Students, teachers, and parents may provide referrals or request counseling services. Some of those services include:
- Counseling services
- College counseling
- Individual/ Group counseling
- Placement services
- Occupational information services

Academic Intervention/ Learning Difference Support
Students with learning differences or challenges receive support from our Academic Intervention Program. Not sure whether a student has a learning difference? Ms. Nekesha Price can provide information on testing and strategies to try even without a clear diagnosis.
