Welcome to our 2020 NCAA college football early signing day today we celebrate Jim to over day glue and his decision where he's decided which school he's going to continue his education and his football career but before we move on we like to do as we always do things here at Archbishop Carroll in prayer dear Lord thank you for the gift of this recognition and opportunity for Jim to to continue as academic journey and his athletic during we thank you for the guidance of his parents and how they've nurtured him through this journey with patience and Grace continue to bless us as you have done so through this pandemic and we thank you for the hope of the vaccine you continue to teach us who is the playing please accept our prayer in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit amen welcome to the hallowed Halls of Archbishop Carroll High School in the gym fans media center and to continue our program I'd like to introduce 1991 graduate our head football coach coach of the year with the Robert Harris we are here today to share in a joyous occasion and which a young lion is in his final days of one chapter in his life and is making commitment to the next chapter of his life Jim to you are and have been a joy to coach and mentor in the time that you have been here with us at Archbishop Carroll High School I have been blessed to watch you grow I only ask that if you continue your journey you remember to keep God first understand that being a college student athlete has a take responsibility so don't take this opportunity for granted and is short don't cheat God on behalf of your coaches here to Archbishop Carroll the administration and the entire Archbishop Carroll community we want to want you to know how proud We Are of you and remember that you represent all of us to you and your family we say thank you for trusting us with Jim to in order to prepare him for the next chapter of his life we actually God continue to be with you and now I present Jim to open today I would like to thank all of you guys for being here for me today first and foremost I like to thank God for without him I would not be standing here so blessed today first I would like to give a special thanks to my two parents sitting right there for raising me to be the best version of myself and teaching me good moral values and teaching me to be responsible for my own actions I love my siblings if you know me you guys motivate me everyday to be is the best version of myself for you guys so you guys the best way to be a role model I like it all my coaches all my trainers and all my teachers for their guidance and direction I don't like to give a special thanks to the coaches at Temple University for giving me an opportunity not only to excel in my academic but I'm taking my green is my dream which is football football is an ambition that I've nursed since I was a kid but I was a child so I can't even remember who played football my whole life like to give us special thanks to coach Rob for sale in because they see me in the scene between the volume of me and you know they be I just took a leap of faith and let God do the rest for that I am I will be until 7 I am and Caroline have you officially sign your National letter congratulations we know the Temple University is getting a a first-class individual and closing on behalf of the head of school here. Carol mr. Larry Savoy and I'll principal Miss Alana Gilmore in the entire Archbishop Carroll Community we appreciate everyone join us in this illustrious occasion honoring Jim to and it this is truly truly a blessing thank you and good evening
