Carroll Recognized Among 2020 Best Catholic Schools in the Region

Driven by Consistently High College Acceptance Rates and a Culture of Pride and Excellence

 

 

WASHINGTON - (August 8, 2019) Archbishop Carroll High School, a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Washington, today announced it has received the distinction of being named one of the Best Catholic High Schools in the District of Columbia by national researcher Niche.

 

“I’m honored that Carroll has been recognized among the District and the nation’s leading college-preparatory institutions,” said Carroll President Larry Savoy. “Anyone who has walked the halls of Carroll knows just what a special place it is. From our students and faculty to esteemed alumni, we pride ourselves in continuing to cultivate greatness.”

 

In order to be nominated and recognized, Carroll underwent a rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.

 

Carroll has had a one hundred percent college acceptance rate for the last two years.
