Mark Savercool


 Mr. Savercool, a 1981 graduate of Archbishop Carroll, has 15 years of experience in development and fundraising in secondary education. He first began working at Carroll in 1998 as the Director of Advancement. After serving in that role for over eight years, he then worked for several other Catholic schools in the Washington metropolitan region. In 2013, he returned to Carroll as the Vice President of Advancement.

Mr. Savercool is passionate about sports. Before starting a career in fundraising, he spent six years working as an editor for several college sports publications, where he covered college basketball and football. He also coached CYO league basketball for 20 years. He earned a B.A. in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida.
