Through the generosity of the Catholic University of America, Archbishop Carroll students can enroll in courses at CUA for no fee on a space-available basis. The following conditions apply:
* Students must request CUA courses through their counselor and be approved for those courses through the Principal.
* Catholic University will determine space availability, will administer placement testing as needed, and retains discretion on course placement.
* Students who do well in their CUA courses will be issued a transcript by the university, and their Carroll transcripts will indicate their CUA grades. Students who do not do well in their CUA courses may have their coursework, such as essays and final exams, turned over by CUA to Archbishop Carroll for grading and inclusion as high school credits.
* Students may take courses on a space-available basis in CUA’s summer sessions, again with the approval of the Principal.
Students may not miss required Carroll courses to take CUA courses.
Classes that students have taken at CUA include philosophy, chemistry, psychology, Calculus II, and statistics.
