Archdiocese of Washington Students:

If you attend an Archdiocese grade school in Maryland or DC, you’ll take the High School Placement Test at your school. You will need to list Archbishop Carroll High School as one of your school choices. Using your assigned checklist, you will indicate who at your school should receive the email to release your academic information, then your school will submit your Catholic High School Information Form.

Public School, Charter School, Montessori School or Home Schooled Students:

You will need to take the High School Placement Test, which is administered at a variety of sites in the Metro area. Please click here for information on how to register for the test. Make sure you list Archbishop Carroll High School among the schools you wish to receive your scores. Using your assigned checklist, you will indicate the name and email of the school representative who will complete your records request. Your school representative will submit your final 7th grade report card, most recent 8th grade report card, attendance records (if not included on report cards), and disciplinary actions directly to Archbishop Carroll High School. Lastly, using your assigned checklist, you will indicate two teachers (one Math or Science and one History or English). They will be emailed the Recommendation Form to fill out on your behalf. You will also indicate an administrator (principal, vice-principal / assistant principal, dean, or counselor) to submit the Recommendation Form for a total of three letters of recommendation.
