A Special Carroll Christmas Carol Christmas Special

The production was adapted and directed by Carroll's Fine Arts Department Chair, Stacey Claytor. The audience was taken on a musical and visual tour around the world during the most wonderful time of the year.

"We are blessed with a unique community of students, faculty and staff whose cultural roots span the globe." Ms. Claytor explained in a thank you to the attendees, "It is important for our communities to remember that we are all God's children and that, Jesus, the true reason for this holiday season, came that all people from every nation might receive the gift of everlasting life."

The cast took the audience on a trip with exotic destinations including Africa, Japan, Europe, South America, Canada, and of course...the United States. Every aspect of the production was carefully executed to showcase cultural diversity. Under the new leadership of Mr. Jared Eastridge, the Carroll Band performed selections highlighting Mexico, Africa, and England. The Concert Choir gave gospel Christmas classics Silver and Gold by Kirk Franklin, and Emmanuel by Norman Hutchins.

By the end of the night, the audience truly felt as if they had celebrated Christmas Around the World.
