Capstone Projects Challenge Students to Put Principles into Action

Members of the junior class closed out the academic year by presenting their activism projects to the school community during Carroll’s annual activism fair. Activism projects are the capstone projects for the social justice class. Working individually or in groups, students addressed important issues such as homelessness, poverty, violence, police brutality and more.

Carroll Students Participate in Annual Mock Trial Competition

Carroll’s mock trial team participated in a high school mock trial competition hosted by Catholic University (CUA) Columbus School of Law. This year’s event, held April 16, brought ten students from Carroll to CUA’s Slowinski Courtroom for an intense competition against students from St. Anselm’s Abbey School.

Alvin Clayton-Fernandes ’79 and Tim King will be inducted into Carroll's Hall of Honor during the 2016 Spring Benefit Reception on June 13 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' Roof Terrace Restaurant. Inscribed in the Hall of Honor are those alumni who have brought honor to their alma mater, those who created a legacy for Carroll administrators and teachers, and those who partnered in our mission to develop future leaders in God’s work and community betterment.
