Signing Day: Track and Field

On Nov. 13, Archbishop Carroll held a signing ceremony to recognize two of our student athletes. Stedman Cook ‘16 and Maxwell Willis ’16, both highly acclaimed track & field competitors, signed national letters of intent. Stedman, who runs sprints and relays, will attend the University of Connecticut. Maxwell, who also runs sprints and relays, will attend Baylor University. We congratulate them on their big accomplishment!

Carroll Community Gears Up for Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

It happens every November. Students, parents, alumni, and supporters take on an important mission-driven operation — to combat hunger. In what has become one of the largest high school food drives in the nation, Archbishop Carroll is setting out to collect 38,000 pounds of food and $3,000 in financial contributions, which will provide over 300 Thanksgiving dinners — including turkey, trimmings, and a week's worth of pantry supplies — to families in need.

Q&A with Stacey Claytor: On Ensuring the Arts are a Hallmark at Carroll

Stacey Claytor joined the Carroll faculty this year as our new Director of Fine Arts. Ms. Claytor holds a bachelor’s degree in theater and dance from James Madison University. An experienced professional dancer and choreographer, she has extensive performing arts management experience. She recently took a moment out of her busy day to share what she’s planning in her new role at Carroll and what we can look forward to in terms of performances this year!

Richard Merritt ‘16 and Jauan Williams ’16 Selected for 2016 Under Armour All-America Game

On Sept. 16, the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2016 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game visited Carroll to formally present seniors Richard Merritt and Jauan Williams with honorary game jerseys commemorating their selection to the 2016 Under Armour All-America Game. The ninth-annual Under Armour All-America Game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 2 and will be televised live on ESPN2. Congratulations fellas!
