3rd Annual Green & Gold Golf Open

PROCEEDS BENEFIT

The renovation of the Archbishop Carroll High School Fitness & Weight Room. The room is expected to be renovated over the summer of 2022 and house approximately $50,000 worth of new exercise and fitness equipment. New lighting, entry doors, air conditioning, and painting are also on the work order. Archbishop Carroll High School athletes and teams routinely fall short in the areas of strength and conditioning. Coaches can only scheme and adjust personnel so much before a lack of endurance and strength take their toll on our athletes. The benefits of a sound strength and fitness regiment also have a direct impact on injury prevention, injury recovery, and college scholarship offers. Educating students and athletes early about the benefits of strength and cardio training and bodyweight training will establish habits that provide a healthier lifestyle for years to come. An accessible and functioning Fitness & Weight Room helps reduce stress and anxiety, and encourages discipline, and improves collaboration and teamwork.
