Tom Faletti

Mr. Faletti, who joined the faculty in 2010, teaches Government and Political Science. As chair of the Social Studies Department, he supports social studies teachers in all phases of professional development, and oversees course development and instruction.

The motto on his classroom wall says: "You Can Change Your World!" This encompasses his goal for his students: that they learn how to change the world and become convinced that they can.

Prior to becoming a teacher, Mr. Faletti worked for Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois as policy director (and other prior positions) for 24 years. He earned a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University and a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of California, Berkeley. One of his favorite verses from the Bible is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
