Dean of Students J.J. Gregg Receives National Distinguished Service Award

Mr. Gregg was formally recognized by ACE as the recipient of The Michael Pressley Award for Excellence in Catholic Education. Since its founding in 1993, the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education has sustained and strengthened Catholic schools across the country through leadership formation, research and professional service.
 
During ACE’s Commencement Ceremonies on July 9, Mr. Gregg was presented the award as part of an annual tradition to recognize the outstanding work of ACE graduates and supporters.

Mr. Gregg joined Carroll’s faculty in 2007 as one of our school's first ACE Teaching Fellows from the University of Notre Dame. He is a national board certified teacher in adolescent and young adult science.

He has been an extraordinary member of the Carroll community for over nine years. In addition to serving as Dean of Students, Mr. Gregg is the coordinator of the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Program, a Chemistry teacher and announcer for the football team.
