Archbishop Carroll High School Board Announces Strategic Planning Process
Archbishop Carroll High School Board Announces Strategic Planning Process Celebrating the school’s 60th anniversary year, the Board of Directors of Archbishop Carroll High School has announced the launch of a strategic planning process designed to prepare Carroll for another six decades of producing educated and high-achieving young men and women who know, love, and serve God and each other. The process will focus on student recruitment and marketing, facilities improvement, academic programming and reputation, financial stability, and communications. The process is being chaired by Mr. Roger Fairfax, ‘90, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors, and staffed by senior members of the administrative team with the guidance of Dr. Mary Ellen Hrutka.
“Cardinal O’Boyle laid the cornerstone for Archbishop Carroll High School with the express purpose of promoting integration while fostering academic excellence,” says Fairfax. “The school welcomed students of all racial and economic backgrounds, and prepared them – intellectually, morally and spiritually – to be successful in college and to lead faith-filled lives of service to Church and country. This process will position Carroll to continue doing what it has done so well for sixty years, even in the face of the economic challenges facing all Catholic schools today.”
Fairfax says the process will last through 2012. Questions or feedback regarding the Archbishop Carroll High School strategic planning process may be directed to ACHSstrategicplan@archbishopcarroll.org.
